Feeding Time At GuZoo
Everyday, except Sunday, the animals at GuZoo chow down on their daily portions of fresh produce.  The produce is donated by the local grocery store and picked up daily by GuZoo staff.  From watermelons to asparagus, the animals get to dine on whatever fruit or vegetable is in season.  The monkeys, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, camels and capybara are just some of the animals who benefit from the fresh produce.

Visitors are welcome to come between the hours of 4pm to 6pm to help zoo staff sort and feed out the produce to the various animals.  (in the winter feeding occurs eariler, around 3-4pm, because of shorter daylight hours)

This is a great oppertunity to learn what animals like to eat.  You may be surprized at the food favorites some animals choose.  Come learn why we feed lots of oranges to the guinea pigs.  Did you know that coyotes love watermelon?  And moose go ga ga over bananas!
